The Experience
As part of a global initiative to celebrate Southern African contemporary art, Feast your Eyes transformed a London branch of Nando's into a high-end pop-up gallery. Beyond the physical exhibition, the project featured a series of five VR 360 films designed to transport visitors directly into the private studios of the featured artists.
Directing and shooting across South Africa and Mozambique, Michael Beets captured the raw, intimate environments where the artwork is born. By utilizing Interactive 360° Video as a bridge between the U.K. gallery and the artists' homeland, the series provided an authentic connection to the lives, stories, and social contexts of Southern Africa’s brightest stars.
